You want to make sure that you let you employees know how important it is for your expectations to be met so other people that are counting on your company will not be disappointed.

In your monthly meetings you can go over different events and what expectations you have for them with the different events. You can also go over different projects that different people are working on and the expectations you have for those things also. This will help people to get an idea of your expectations with out you having to be over bearing about it.

The fifth way on how to appropriately share expectations is by sending out e-mails to see how people are doing on certain projects. This is a great way to give pointers along with encouragement so people know that you care and also know what your expectations are with out feeling like they are being micromanaged.
