Which is the best type of Cardio for you?You must first determine your goal.Do you want to improve your fitness rate?If so,just do a moderate workout. If you want to lose some weight, but you are not in the best of shape, go for a long, low intensity walk.
If you are doing weight training, it is best to do your Cardio training separately.But if you want to do them both together, do the weights first.This is because if you do the Cardio first, your muscles will already be tired which will limit your weight training.If you do the Cardio first, it will take you longer to start burning fat.
Low intensity, long duration Cardio exercise is an exercise that is slow and continuous.Walking is a good example of low intensity exercise.If you are not able to keep up a conversation while you, you are walking too fast.Walking is a good way to lose fat and is the least demanding form of exercise.Walking is the most common form of Cardio. You see people out walking every day.
You can walk at any speed.You can walk slowly for a long period of time, but, fast walking will get your heart rate up.It is more like an aerobic exercise.Remember to walk up hills as well as on flat ground and it is important to have a good pair of walking shoes.
Medium Intensity, Medium Duration exercise is harder and cannot be done for as long a time.About 20 to 40 minutes is enough.It is the beginning of heavier breathing but it won't be so uncomfortable that you will have to stop.It is a good fat loss exercise.
High Intensity, Short Duration is a more demanding form of exercise.You will only be able to do between five and 20 minutes, depending on your fitness level.
