The Blood Type Diet: What you eatThe Blood type diet is a list of do's and do not's specific to each persons blood type. Before starting and trying this diet a person must of course have a blood typing test to determine for sure the blood type they carry. If a person does not determine this they will have no success (although success has not been proven either way) and they will simply be eliminating certain foods to eliminate them. Blood type O (the most common blood type found) are said to be meat eaters. A person's diet who is blood type O must consist of high protein for that person to get the most benefits and nutrients from their diet. Blood type O may have as much meat, fish, vegetables and fruit as they can want. Foods that do not react well with a person who is blood type O are grains, beans, and legumes. If a person is practicing this diet for weight loss purposes they are going to want to avoid wheat, corn, kidney beans, navy beans, lentils, cabbage, brussel sprouts, cauliflower and mustard greens. Foods that are going to help with this persons weight loss are going to be, kelp, seafood, salt, liver, red meat, kale, spinach, and broccoli.
Blood type A is thought to be completely vegetarian, meaning they eat no red or white meat. Blood type A is thought to react best with, vegetables, tofu, seafood, and grains, beans, legumes, and fruit. The foods thought to clot their blood, thus creating numerous health and weight problems, are: meat, dairy, kidney beans, lima beans, and wheat (avoid Mexican food). If people with type A are doing this diet to lose weight foods that are thought to help in losing weight are: vegetable oils, soy foods, vegetables, and pineapple. Blood type B is thought to be omnivore. For a person with blood type B to get the most nutrients from their diet it is best for them to eat, meat (no chicken), dairy, grains, beans, legumes, vegetables, and fruit. The foods that are thought to clot a person with blood type B's blood are: corn, lentils, peanuts, sesame seeds, buckwheat, and wheat. If a person with blood type B is doing this diet to lose weight foods that are thought to help them to do so are: greens, eggs, venison, liver, licorice, and tea. Blood type AB is a thought to be a person who needs to consume small amounts of a mixed diet. They are thought to react best with a combination of foods including, meat, seafood, dairy, tofu, beans, legumes, grains, vegetables, and fruits. Foods that a person with type AB blood wants to avoid if they are doing this diet for weight loss purposes are: red meat, kidney beans, lima beans, seeds, corn, and buckwheat. Foods that are thought to help a person with type AB blood to lose weight are: tofu, seafood, dairy, greens, kelp, and pineapple. Unless a person does have type AB blood this diet does not restrict or limit portions, only the type of food consumed. This diet promotes foods such as vegetables and fruits which are of course high in nutrients and are going to of course be the best source of nutrients for a person on any diet. This diet also promotes the consumption of protein, whether through meat or seafood, and is thus going to give the individual doing this diet strength and the building blocks for their cells and continued life. This diet has not been scientifically proven under a microscope, there is no documentation of proof of a persons blood actually clotting because of consuming certain foods and not others. It is thought that if this theory was true people would be unknowingly clotting their blood on a daily bases thus we would see many more circumstances of body disfunction because of blood disease. Some people have found success though by limiting their consumption of certain foods. Rate This Post
