Best investment blogs

Blogs are a great media source. This should be no different for investments. Here are some of the best investment blogs.

This first blog has everything on it investing, the economy, housing and humor. It is called http://bigpicture.typepad.com/ . This blog is great for people who already seem to have some type of an idea about financing. This blog is written by Barry Ritholtz and he writes about a wide arrangement of subjects that all seem to be linked to the financial markets. There is not much in the form of an actual in depth analysis for asset allocation trends which may lead some to think it is not very informative. He does however include many unknown facts for your enjoyment.

This next blog is titled http://www.microcapspeculator.blogspot.com/. It is by far the best site for stock analysis for those stocks with a very small market capitalization. The stocks that are written about on this blog are primarily traded on the Bulletin Board and Pink Sheets. Stocks traded on the Bulletin Board and Pink sheets means that these stocks are primarily penny stocks. This blog site also includes individual companies and short interest in small companies. This site is great for someone who likes to move money around and play with it a bit or just to sit and wait for a small stock to really take off.

Another good blog is sponsored by MSN and connects the rest of MSN's money sites together through the blog. It is called http://www.blogs.moneycentral.msn.com/topstocks/ with this blog being dedicated to the analysis of the best stocks in the market on that given day. This blog will help you navigate through the MSN money site and the rest of the web. Not only will you receive stock analysis you will also receive information about other items associated with investing. This site basically does the leg work for you and then you decide where you want to go to find the information you need or want. It is a great place to begin for someone who may not know all the investment lingo that many of the other sites use.

http://www.stockmarketbeat.com/ is an investment blog written by William Trent and is a certified financial analyst. His specialty lies within the semiconductor market but he is able to analyze and write about any other investment option including retail companies and personnel firms. He is a whiz at research and you will find links to some very interesting studies. The site includes graphs and commentaries of the current economic indicators that all investors seem to be quoting and relying on. This is a great site for anyone that has a good grasp on investing and knows some of the things they may be looking for.

The Kirk Report written by Charles Kirk can be found at http://www.thekirkreport.com/. This site includes a combination of solid writing on companies and many markets. This blog includes a large number of references to other financial blogs and websites that will also cover the many different areas of the stock market or any economic subjects.

For investors that like to look at market trends for many years back then Trader Feed, which is found at http://www.traderfeed.blogspot.com/ is a great option. This site written by Brett Steenbarger takes a completely different perspective on the market than many of the investment blogs you will find. The site not only posts about the market based on trends from years ago but it also includes psychological insights regarding the skills and personalities of traders. If you believe in Karma this may be the site for you.
