Choosing the right customers to market to. Making sure that you have your marketing funds going to the right market can make all the difference in your overall success. 3. Are there specific genders that would be more interested those others?
4. Is there an ethnic group that has more interests than others?
5. Are there specific times that you would be able to reach your customer market?
6. Will you be able to use one type of advertising over another? For example, will you be able to use the Internet more, or the television.

As you look at the right customer base, you will see that there are some things that will make your marketing more effective. This is where knowing your customer market will be so important for the success of your business.

When you look at the use of the Internet for a specific customer base. You will see that if your market is interested in the Internet then, the Internet will be a very powerful use of advertising for your marketing.

On the other hand, if the television reaches your customer market better, then you will want to do all you can to get on the television at the times your customer base will be watching.

The total process of getting to know your customer base really is simply getting to know your customers. You can do this by research, asking questions, watching and learning.

You can also learn information about your customer base from your competitors. So if you want to know what the competitor is using to get their customers, then watch what they are doing.

Your competitors have likely already learned a great deal through their marketing plan. This does not mean you need to do what they do, but you can use some of their experiences in your plans for marketing more efficiently.

These are good ways to help you choose the right customers to market to. It will be up to you to take this information and make the most of it. Then you will see your success.
