Marketing techniques and tactics defined
Don't be afraid to try something new. Be creative and brainstorm. Have an open mind and use the feedback and input from friends, family, co-workers and even clients. If you advertise in a way that is new and interesting, it will be more memorable and will probably drive more business to you. The key is find a balance between tried-and-true methods and new, innovative ideas. An example of this is with clothing (especially more expensive, name brand clothing) - the customer doesn't usually care too much about what clothing is made of or what kind of stitching was used. Their key concern is how the piece of clothing makes them look and what kind of image it conveys. If you keep the benefit, the end result, at the forefront of your advertising, your potential customers will probably pay more attention to what you have to offer. Use Customer Testimonials Don't be afraid to ask for customer feedback and testimonials. Most people don't give feedback or a testimonial without some kind of prompting. Ask satisfied customers what they liked best about your business and what worked for them particularly. Be sure, however, to ask for permission before using any kind of quote from a customer in your advertising. Keep it Fresh It is important to update and add new services or products for a few reasons. One is that past customers will still be able to benefit from your business, thus creating customer loyalty. Another reason is that you will attract new people with each new addition - maybe a few months ago, someone wasn't interested in what you had to offer; once you add something new, they make check back and find something that they didn't before.
