How to put together an advert

Here is how to put together an advert in six easy steps. In order to make the advert do what it needs to do, it needs to be able to tell a story to the consumer. The thing is that the consumer does not want to sit around and listen to the reasons you have of why that product or service is right for them. They want to know what you have to say, if you can say it fast, efficiently and to the point.

So here is how you can put together your advert, in order to make sure that the consumer will understand what they need from you.

1. Start out with making sure that the headline for your advert is good. This should be something that tells the story of the product or service in just a few words. In the most you will want there to be ten words. The reason is, that if you want the consumer to pay attention to what you are bringing them, you will have to take into consideration their busy lives. The way you present your headline will make all the difference in the world. Here are some examples of good headlines and some examples of some not so good headlines.
a. Super weight loss pill, loss 10 pounds in one week. This is a good headline.
b. Get into that dress in no time; our weight loss pill can make it happen. This is a good headline.
c. Enjoy the hot summer time in the cool waters of Begonia beach. This is a good headline.
d. New weight loss pill on the market. This is a headline that might not get the attention you need.
e. Join us swimming at Begonia beach. This is not such a great headline.
2. From your good headline, you will be able to create a good lead. The better the lead paragraph, the higher chance of attraction you will have. The lead is a paragraph that tells the entire story of the product or service in 30 words or less. Keep to the point, and make the product your main discussion. Do not beat around the bush. The product or service is the point. Here are some key hints that make this easier.
a. Tell the customer about the product or service.
b. Tell the customer why they need to product or service.
c. Tell the customer why they will not want to wait to get the product or service.
3. Convince the consumer that your product or service is the right thing for them. Things cost money. If the consumer thinks they need a product and trusts the sales person and manufacturer, then they are more likely to buy a product.
4. Don't waste the reading space. It does not matter what caused the weight gain. We all know that eating too much and not exercising are pretty good causes of weight gain. Write about how your diet pill will work to get rid of the excess fat. That is what the consumer will want to know.
5. Tell your story in the advert. What makes your product unique? Is it a good price? Why would you purchase this product? Who needs it?
6. Get the advert to get those consumers moving. Why have them wait till they forget about your product. Give them a reason to buy now. Have a sale. Give some free samples away. What ever it will take to get those consumers trying your product or service and talking about it.

This is how to put together an advert. Keep in mind that accurate, ethical, honest and interesting is the key to making sure your advert will do the job.
