The important thing is to know your company; if you know you company then it will be easier for you to develop a winning marketing plan. If you are not confident in your business then your employees will not be confident in you. You have to make it clear that you know how to run your business. Your marketing plan should reflect your management skills. You should also develop a team of employees specific to marketing. When you have a team it will be easier to brainstorm marketing ideas.
Research the people that you are targeting for your product. The more you know about your potential customers the more you know how to satisfy their needs. Make you advertising something that is familiar to them.
