Difference between Samsung, Sony, and Cannon digital video cameras
The main strength of Sony is the availability of the camera. As far as low end digital video goes, they dominate the market because of the reliability of their cameras. The cameras also tend to have cooler features such as night vision and other special effects. Sony is also convenient because there are so many extras that are manufactured to enhance the different models they have to offer. Sony also has a strong position in electronics all around, so they have a lot of positive feedback from their large customer base. Canon digital video cameras are famous for pioneering the more affordable professional grade digital video camera. With the introduction of the XL and GL series, they have forced Sony and Samsung to come up with competing models that deliver the power and quality that Canon has been able to manufacture. The excitement that was sparked by these cameras was that they delivered high quality video that could be used to produce projects that could onto television. With the introduction of their newest camera, the XL-3 High Definition, it is now possible to produce amazingly crystal clear video that can be displayed on a HD monitor and leave the spectator breathless. Sony and JVC both have competing models, but Samsung doesn't have dung that comes close to Canon in this arena of digital video cameras. While Canon has some good low end cameras that are good solid products, their real strength is the higher-end digital video cameras. Samsung makes good cameras at the lowest end of the market. They produce some higher end equipment, but it doesn't hold up against Sony and Canon for the money. But if you're looking for a digital video camera that is a fair price and does a good job video taping for personal use, than Samsung has some answers for you. Samsung isn't known for their digital cameras as much as other products they manufacture, but when it comes to miniDV digital video cameras, they have claimed a market of people who would like to spend less to become a part of the digital age. Whichever company you end up buying a camera from, make sure to try the camera out first and see if it is actually what you are looking for. You don't need a Mustang when you only need a four-door sedan. But if you need some high quality results, don't settle for something less, especially if there's a company that makes it better, even if it costs a little bit more. Sony, Canon, and Samsung all have good reputations manufacturing digital video cameras, so go ahead and feel happy with the new toy you bought yourself and go make some movies!
