Infrastructure for wireless networks

For those of you who have absolutely no idea what an infrastructure is we are first going to explain infrastructure before we actually move on to wireless networks. To start with an infrastructure is basically the structural elements that support the framework for something. Basically what this actually means is that the infrastructure is the main things that provide the support or the capability for a specific structure. Basically what this means is that without these certain elements then the structure in question could not actually exist.

Now let's move on to wireless networks. For those of you who are unaware of what a wireless network is the first thing that you need to know is that a wireless network has to do with computers and computer equipment. But it is actually basically just what it sounds like a wireless network is a bunch of computers that are hooked up to a central location in your office, but this is actually accomplished without wires.

So now that you know what an infrastructure is and what a wireless network is you might be wondering about the infrastructure for wireless networks. Or basically what you need to have to actually use a wireless network in your home or office. Basically this means that you are going to need to have certain kinds of equipment in order to set up a wireless network in either location. And something that you are going to need to keep in mind is that without this equipment you are not going to be able to set up a wireless network, but you might be able to actually set up a regular network, which is basically a bunch of computers connected together that can share files and information with each other.

Here are some things that you are going to need in order to set up a wireless network.

Number one:
The first thing that you are going to need to have is a wireless router. Basically this is going to be the most important piece of equipment that you will need to purchase because it is going to be the hub for your wireless network. This router is what is going to allow your computers to connect to the internet.

Number two:
The next thing that you are going to need to have is wireless network cards in each of your computers. Without these cards your computers will not be able to connect to the wireless router, which means they will not be connected to the wireless network. These cards area type of Ethernet card, but you have to make sure that they come with the wireless capability not just a Ethernet connection port.

Number three:
You are also going to need to have some kind of a modem to connect the router into. The modem is what is going to allow you to connect to the internet. But it also what is going to make it possible for more than one computer to be connected to the internet at a time. But something that you need to know about wireless networks is that in order for them to work to their fullest potential you are going to need to have a high speed internet connection.

Number four:
Although this network is going to be a wireless network you are going to need to keep in mind that you are also going to need to have some cables and telephone lines to connect the router to the modem, but you are also going to need to have cables to connect the modem to the server.
