Satellite TV System
There are some really great things that TV is used for. For one, the news. The news allows people to stay updated on world events like never before. It also allows people to know the weather and such. This is great for all those people who really need to know what the weather is going to be.
Maybe they are planning a family boating trip and because they watch the news they find out that there is supposed to be snow that week and that the lake they were going to go to is frozen over. Well that would stink but it would also save them a lot of time and stress. Now they can bring ice skates instead of swimming suits. Another thing TV is really great for is sports. You no longer have to pay a million dollars to go and watch your favorite sports event, you can just watch it on TV. It is a very fun past time and hundreds of people love sports. Maybe they have to miss a game that they have tickets to, well they can always watch it on TV. Another thing TV is good for is the education channels. It is not all junk and such, you can actually learn while watching TV. You can turn it on and have your kids learn also. There are all sorts of neat things that you can watch and learn about on education channels. TV can also be used for fun and relaxation. Life would be pretty boring if it was all work and no play. We would have a depressed and irritable population. We need time to sit back, relax and unwind. TV can help us to that sometimes. We can sit down to our favorite show with our favorite people and just have a good time. We can laugh and relax and just let go of our worries for a little while. Just let go of the stress of normal every day life. With all these good things that TV can be used for would it not be wonderful if we could have a much broader choice in TV channels and such? Well look no farther because we do and it is possible through the satellite TV system. The satellite TV system is a system that allows you to receive hundreds, and somtimes thousands, more channels. Besides this it also allows you to have better quality picture on your TV and better quality everything. Satellite TV is brought to your home by a system. It starts with a big satellite that is way up high in space floating around. This satellite sends of signals. The signals are pretty cool things. The signals are not just sent off and left to float in space with the satellite. They are picked up and read by a satellite antenna. This antenna is attached to your house. It points towards the satellite way up high in space and reads the signals that is it sending off. The antenna then transmits these signals and sends them to a satellite receiver through a satellite cable. The cable connects the antenna to the receiver. Do not be confused by the receiver. The receiver is just a box that looks like a DVD player and it sits under your TV. Once it receives all this information (get it? satellite receiver receives information) it displays it on your TV. What this information turns out to be is more channels and better menu options for you the next time you sit down, relax and have a good time watching TV.
