Now that you have done everything you need to do for making, creating and setting up your podcast you are going to want to publish your recordings. The only problem now is finding where to publish your recordings and unfortunately it is harder to find information on this aspect of podcasting than on others because many times it is included in podcasting software. So before you start searching the internet or other sources be sure to see what your podcasting software has to offer. Here are some tips you can follow to help you find where to publish your recordings.

Tip one:
The best way to find anything for podcasting is to look online through a search engine. There is a wealth of information that is available if you now what you are looking for. Keep in mind that you are going to get numerous sites from the search engine and in order to try and find a good one you will just have to take your time and see what the sites have to offer. The best way to do this is to visit each site and take some time looking around to see if it is something you will be comfortable using, basically the more user friendly a site is the better that site can be.

Tip two:
You can also look in technical magazines or on podcasting software to see if they have any recommendations for good sites for podcasting. There are numerous technical magazines and some of them deal strictly with podcasting, so this would be a great resource to use in trying to find a good site for podcasting. Magazines will also sometimes contribute users' reviews and ratings on a variety of websites, which can give you an idea of what the users actually thought about the website. But don't just limit your searching to just magazines or software you can also look in books that talk about podcasting. Most of the books will probably refer you to the author's favorite podcasting sight, but some might provide reviews on other podcasting sites. You never know which ones are going to be good until you check them out for yourself.

Tip three:
Something else you can look into doing is visiting some of the different podcasting sites and checking to see what sites they offer links too. Many podcasting sites will refer you to other sites because it helps to promote their business or because it is another site that the company owns, but focuses on a different aspect of podcasting. For example some podcasting sites will offer step by step instructions, others will offer directories for podcasts and some will offer a variety of features. The ones who only offer a few features usually include links to other websites.

Tip four:

Another important place to look if you are trying to find good podcasting sites is technical discussion boards or forums. Here you can see what others have to say about a particular website, see how other people rank the websites, why they recommend certain websites over others, etc. Or if you are not finding what you are looking for you can also post a question that people can respond to. You should also check out websites that offer customer reviews about computer software or websites.
