High return investments

With the economy in its current state of high oil prices, economic growth is slowing and world problems continue to destroy company's production. Investors continue to worry how can you get high return with low risk? The stock market cannot provide it and many people don't want to take the high risk of leveraged investments. Unfortunately the higher the return the higher the risk, almost all high yielding investments can amount to be very risky. That is the one rule of the financial markets that all investors should be aware of. Here are some high return investments to consider.

Stock Markets
If you are looking for short term investments with high returns a good idea is to invest in the stock market. When investing in the stock market the key factor is investing in a variety of companies. Try looking at the current trends, green/alternate energy companies, healthcare companies, information technology firms, education, etc. Unfortunately stock market investments can prove to be extremely risky, especially now while the economy is still under the effects of the economic downturn.

Bonds
Bonds are a low risk investment with high returns whether they are issued by the government or a corporate company. By issuing bonds corporations take loans from the public to further expand their business. Whether the corporate world makes profits or losses with the investors' money, they can be rest assured of a fixed rate of return on their investments. Treasury bonds that are issued by the government work on the same principle too. Their duration may however vary from seven to thirty years.

Real Estate
Real estate investments can prove to be a high return investment for those who have enough funds to hold on to their investments till the market picks up. At the current moment real estate is not doing well, no one is willing to buy properties and many have had to give up on their property investments due to the inability to pay bank loans. Due to these reasons there are many unsold properties in the market, which have dropped in rates. But looking at the current rates you can invest in property right now, and then wait for the real estate to pick up and sell the property at a much higher rate, and make serious profits out of the investment. Again you have to have to right amount of money to invest and hold.

Developing countries
Investing in the development of countries can have a great high return amount. For example countries such as India, Brazil, and South Africa, these countries in order to attract investments from wealthier countries are prepared to pay a very high rate of returns. This makes investments in markets and companies located in these countries one of the best investments with high returns. However there is always a risk involved, since these markets are still in their growth phase, no one can fully predict whether they will remain lucrative as they seem at the present investment. This is another investment you will want to consider and research in depth before making the initial investment.
Gold
In the long run gold can have a satisfying high return, the key is to buy when the rates of gold coins, gold bars or any exchange trade funds hit rock bottom and sell when they peak. This is sure to give you a high return profit.

With any investment there is always a risk you are taking of the investment not turning a profit, and you take a bigger risk when trying for a high return profit. But if you succeed in selecting the right investment you will see the rewards of a high return.
