Cutting costs, not quality when hiring

How much does it take to get the attention needed to obtain applicants?
Who will do the review of the resumes and complete interviews?
Where and who will be doing checking on credential, previous work, and references?
What are the costs of administrative services for the interview process?

With out training, pay prior to efficiency, and the skills needed. Just in the hiring process a company is likely to spend $3000 or more to hire. That is if they can find enough candidates in the right amount of time. It can simply grow from that in cost.

You must choose respirators for your business. You may or may not have experience in this area. This article will give you the basics to determine what you need and what your options are to cover those needs. The most important requirement is to protect your employees and yet keep costs at a minimum.

Let's begin with the basics. Respirators are devices that protect workers from inhaling harmful substances. These substances can be in the form of airborne vapors, gases, dust, fogs, fumes, mists, smokes, or sprays. Some respirators also ensure that workers do not breathe air that contains dangerously low levels of oxygen. There are two major types of respirators:

Using outside cleaning services:

So your office needs to be cleaned and your secretary's not willing to do it, what do you do? You could ask your spouse? Or my personal favorite, the person you're dating is always a little more willing to please right now. Are any of these options going to work for you? If not then it's probably a good idea to hire a cleaning service.

The first thing you need to think about is who can you trust? You can never know perfectly without establishing your own relationship with someone, but there are a few questions you can ask that will help.

Spanish in today's workforce, the importance of bilingual communication:

Today the Spanish speaking populations makes up fourteen percent of our society - fourteen percent! That's huge! Whether from a marketing, a political, or a general public perspective that is a large percent of people in our little Northern America who speak Spanish. It's true, there is no official language of the United States of America, but come on, a little common courtesy would say pick up the language of the country your living in. However, that's not how it is. And as it is, we have to cater to it.

As long as you're going to cater to it, go all the way. You have to know that Spanish speaking does not necessarily, Mexican. In America there are Spanish speakers that come from many different Spanish countries; we have Brazilians, Mexicans, Chileans, Argentines, Spanish, as well as many others. This is important to know because not all Spanish countries have the same culture; in fact many of the Spanish cultures are very different. Just as you wouldn't fly a British flag on Independence Day just because we speak a common language, be careful when catering to your Spanish speaking customers not to offend them in the same manner.

Full time temp workers: The advantages and disadvantages of using them

In The Office season one and two a well know character, Ryan, fills the role of the office temp. Ryan accepts this job in the first episode of the first season, and you can see from episode one that he is not thrilled to be working at this office (as he is seen calling corporate helping to spread a rumor that the company is going under). Although Ryan is never ecstatic about working at Dunder Mifflan and Co, the office Manager, Michael, puts him to good use, and by so doing shows us, the quizzical, how useful a full time temp can be.

Mainly the temp, Ryan, is useful because he doesn’t have a permanent job at Dunder Mifflan and Co, and so he can be used for any job or assignment that comes up. Sometimes this is filing (which is what he seems to have been hired for) but other more useful times this is assignments such as, cleaning out the bosses car, organizing spring cleaning, helping the boss play pranks on other employees, or my favorite, showing up before dawn to bring the boss breakfast. In this example, if you are the boss, hiring a temp worker is nothing but advantages as it would seem you have more a personal slave (or friend) than anything.
