Exercise Bikes:

Exercise bikes have been around for a VERY long time. What exercise bikes used to be are ancient compared to the incredible things they have come up with today. Exercise bikes used to just be stationary bikes that you pedaled and got exercise. They were old, medally, wiry things that worked kind of oddly. At least by today's standards.

They now are electronic (still stationary) and have all sorts of neat features. The bikes today have different levels you can choose to ride at. So if you want it to be hard or easy, you can choose. They will also do things such as give you different programmed workouts that will take you like you are going up hill, downhill or whichever program you choose.

They will also take your heart rate. This is great so that you can know how hard your body can handle without going over your target heart rate. It is better for you to stay in your target heart rate, even if you think you could go harder.

These are features that probably never would have been imagined by the first exercise bike inventors. The bikes offer so much for your fitness than exercise bikes used to offer.

Obviously there are different quality bikes. Some have the latest and greatest features, some are a little older. Some are very expensive and some are not very expensive because they are not the newest make.

Either way, they still have great features that will work your heart, lungs, muscles and many more areas of the body and will help you to become physically fit all around.

There are many exercise bikes to choose from, from the newest the used. There are different types of bikes. There are some that sit up straight and some that sit back and have you pedal out in front of you. Some people like this type because they think it is more comfortable but others like the other type. It just depends on your own personal preference.

One bike that is highly recommended if you have the money for it is the Lifecycle C3-5 bike. This bike has many incredible features on it. For one, the bike has twenty levels of resistance. This means that you have incredible variety for workouts.

You can do fast and easy or slow and hard. You can do any level that is hardest for you and then work up and up until you get stronger and stronger.

This bike also has a heart rate monitor with a chest strap. This would allow you to watch your heart rate while exercising and make sure that you are staying within a healthy zone. It is not always best to go hard, you need to make sure you are not going too hard. This heart monitor would help you with that.

Besides these and other neat features, the bike will hold up to four-hundred pounds. No matter what weight you are, this bike would allow you to begin an exercise program and begin to shed those extra pounds. It would be a nice way to get started.

Also, you will never be worried about the bike breaking down because it has a lifetime warranty. This bike is all around, a great bike.

No matter which bike you choose though, a bike would be a great fitness tool and a great way to help you get in shape right there at home.
