Getting your health message out to the public
There are a number of ways you can get your message out to the public and promote your business. If you have a health related message or products and services to promote, you're in luck - there are many opportunities to get your message out to the public that are both easy and free, or at least low-cost.
Reevaluate your marketing strategy. It also pays to do a little market research, so you know can get your message to potential customers instead of people who have no use for your services. For example, if you are leaving brochures for your children's fitness business in areas that are primarily retired people, you will probably not be reaching the best crowd for your message. Enter a health fair. If you are interested in entering something like this, contact your local City Hall or Community Center to see if they sponsor anything like this. There will typically be a booth or entry fee to participate. Organize a race or run/walk. Volunteer your services. For example, if you have a massage therapy business, you could go to businesses and give a short lecture on stretches for stress reduction, then offer free short massages to employees. Or, you could give a presentation on the benefits of not smoking, then pass out coupons or information for your smoking cessation courses. Getting your health message out to the public is important for a number of reasons.
