Here are some of the following questions that you should ask yourself and your account in order to ensure you're getting your money's worth. 1. Is timely service always delivered? Accounting information can become out of date fairly quickly. Except for annual information, most accounting information should be no more than 10 to 30 days old. Granted, some of this will depend on you and your ability to get that information to your accountant. But you should find out if they are accustomed to getting your work done quickly and on time.
