1. Bacteria stays in the mouth long after you have eaten. Food breaks down to rot the gums and teeth, causing cavities and other harmful problems. So prevent having to get your teeth worked on by making sure to brush your teeth at least twice a day.
2. You really should brush after every meal. It may be hard to brush after eating a snack so just stick to eating at mealtimes. Bring a toothbrush to work.
