Business plan is a vitally important part of getting your business up and running. A business plan is what you will present to potential investors, partners, or clients in order to acquire the assets necessary to move your business idea to the next level. Boxed software
Boxed business plan guide software can be found in a variety of different stores. Looking at a business supply store or an entertainment store will most likely yield the most favorable results as there will be customer service representatives on hand to answer any questions that you may have and to give advice. Boxed software is usually the most detailed and contains the most features. Be aware though, that manufacturers will try to win you over by offering bonuses in the software set that you may or may not even be interested in. Often times a book or manual of some sort will be included in the software, obviously if you are not interested in the book you do not want to be stuck having to pay for it because of its inclusion with the software.

Current word programs
Believe it or not, you may have business plan templates already you just have t search your computer for them. More recent standard word programs will come equipped with a selection of templates. Although the templates included may not be all that you will need to finish your business plan, often times they can provide you with a helpful starting point. Why not use what you already have before looking for something new to buy.

Free downloads
You can find almost anything on the internet including free downloads of business plan templates. Other free templates that you may be more familiar with can be found through Microsoft Office Online templates. You can search online through Microsoft Office Online's template database to find a template that will work for your business. Again there is the issue that you will need to be original in how your final formatting is as mass distributed templates such as these are not usually going to give you any kind of competitive advantage.

Free trials
Also available for you to try are free trials. Company's who offer business plan template software will let you take a test run of their product and if you like what you see you are welcome to buy the product. This takes some of the risk out of going into a purchase blindly.
