How to keep clients

When it comes to keeping the clients you have, it is important that you take the time to focus on finding people that are going to continue supporting your organization no matter what. You also need to focus on providing them with the upmost in customer service. They need to feel that you are supportive of them and you will work hard to do what you can in order to keep them as a happy client.

Client retention is a strategy that you need to have. Why is this so important? Studies show that when you search for new clients, you will end up spending more money than you will if you focus on retaining the clients that you already have. Working on the clients that you already have will save you money as they are already sold on your products and services and it makes it much easier for them to buy your products. About 80% of sales come from existing customers. This proves why it is so important that you work on showing your clients that you appreciate their business and you want to keep them as clients.

So many companies are focused on advertising to attract new clients that they do not understand how to build relationships with their existing customers. With your existing clients you need to market in a way that shows them how you value their business. Here are some of the strategies that you need to follow in order to keep your clients happy:
1. Contact. One of the first things you need to do is to stay in touch with your customers. Email marketing is a great way to let your customers know you still exist and that you are focused on providing them with consistent service. Use an email program that you can manage or you can choose to hire an email service. Find the clients that provide you with the highest number of sales. This is a great way to be able to keep your business alive as you send out emails to them with discount codes and other things. Treating these clients right will really help to bring in some big sales for the company. If you want to get even more personal you might try sending out some personal letters to these clients thanking them for their support. These may cost you more but one big sale can make all the difference to your company. There are some organizations that will hold a large luncheon for their top clients and pitch them on a new product when they are around.
2. Marketing. You need to keep your existing clients in the loop about your company. They need to hear about new products before you market this information to the general public. As you market correctly, you will have an easy time getting your existing clients to pay attention.
3. Deals. Existing clients feel appreciated when they are given advanced sales and other things. You want to offer them deals and look for ways in which you can focus on showing them that they are highly important to your company.
4. Recognize them. If you send out newsletters you might try mentioning their name in a newsletter if they have made a big sale to support your company. Recognizing your big clients will really help them to feel better about being your customer.
5. Listen to your customers. Your existing clients are going to give you some of the best information possible. This is why you really need to listen to them and to really take their advice to heart when you are creating new products and other things. Customer feedback is one of the best things that you have to improve your organization.
