The third tip is to have hands on training. A lot of people do better at learning new things if they can actually get on a system and maneuver it around themselves. If they just have to read a book and listen and watch some one else teach what needs to be done they might not catch on as quick. This will also help if people have questions as they are going through the system.

The fourth tip is to do your trainings in steps. You can do this by either having certain ways that your employees can pass off certain steps of the systems before they can go onto the next. You may even want to have tests that they have to pass before they go to the next system. What ever you decide you will want to make sure that you know that your employees know what they are suppose to be doing and understand the manufacturing systems before you let them out on their own.

The fifth tip is to have evaluations. This is a great way to not only reward your employees for their hard work but also to make sure they understand the new manufacturing systems. You will want to make sure that your employees know that they need to learn the new systems because you are doing away with the old systems. If people think they are going to have both the old and new systems they might not try as hard to learn the new one because they will think they can fall back on the old one.
