How do I sign Yahoo mail?

If you're like many people, you have Yahoo mail. As the most popular email service provider in the world, Yahoo mail serves millions of users across the globe. Part of their popularity lies in the fact that mail can be customized in a number of different ways, including through different fonts and colors, emoticons, filters and blocks, and the ability to sign your outgoing messages.

How do I sign Yahoo mail?
A signature is simply a message you assign to all of your outgoing mail that appears at the bottom of each message. This can be just your name, or your name and phone number and address, or anything else you may want everyone you send messages to know.

Signing your Yahoo mail is easy to do:
1. Sign into Yahoo mail and go to your main page.
2. Once there, click on Options in the upper right hand corner. You will automatically be directed to the Mail Options page.
3. This page has three columns: Spam, Management, and Premium Services. Navigate to the center column, Management.
4. Click on Signature, the fourth heading down from the top of the Management column.
5. You will be directed to a page that has a text box. Simply enter in the text you would like to appear at the bottom of all your outgoing messages. You also have the option of adding colors and graphics by clicking on the Color and Graphics link at the top of the text box.
6. Once you have entered your signature, you will then check the "Add signature to all outgoing messages" box.
7. Review your signature for errors, and then click Save at the bottom of the page on the left hand side.

You will now have an outgoing signature at the bottom of all of your emails.

You can turn off the signature at any time in a couple of different ways. You can repeat the above steps, and instead of entering text into the signature box, erase your current signature so the text box is blank, and then hit save. Or, once in the signature page, you can just uncheck the "Add signature to all outgoing messages" box.

If you don't have a Yahoo email account but would like one, they are easy to sign up for; you simply go to the Yahoo home page and click on the Sign Up option, fill out some information, and then you can begin sending and receiving emails. The sign up page is easy to understand and follow, and you will be prompted to reenter any wrong information.

Once you sign up for Yahoo's free account, you also have the option of upgrading to Yahoo's Mail Plus, which has a larger inbox and the ability to attach larger files. Yahoo also has a personal mailbox option, which allows you to choose an address that ends in your name, rather than yahoo.com (For example, jane@janedoe.com or jane@doefamily.com.)

Your Yahoo mail address also serves as your username to access other Yahoo services and features, such as chat rooms, message boards, and a number of others. Yahoo has a number of features that many users enjoy, including a large mail inbox, file scanning to keep you from opening infected files, and the ability to customize your messages with various fonts, colors, and emoticons.
