Satellite Dish

Do you just love watching TV? OR at least kind of just love watch TV? Because a lot of people do. They really love it a lot. TV is a big deal these days. Some people are so obsessed with it that it is the only thing they will do in their spare time. They go to work, watch TV, go to school, watch TV, play with friends and watch TV at the same time.

Really, probably there are millions of people who have TV and probably at least some of those millions really love watching TV. If not for the fact that you can watch lots of shows, for the fact that you can also watch education things and the news and all sorts of stuff.

TV is modern day entertainment. Kids used to play outside and use their imaginations and stuff. They used to come up with things to do and be smarter or something. If there was nothing to do they would go outside and make up their own game. They would climb trees pretending to be monkeys, make-up pirate games, make up other games, they used to do a lot more than they do now.

These days, all that is replaced with TV. It's like, "Are you bored? Well watch TV." "Oh you can't think of a fun activity? Watch TV." It's also like, "Oh our favorite sports game is on? Lets watch TV." "Martha Stewart is teaching how to make a great meal that we could use for dinner tonight? Well what are you waiting for . . . turn on the stinkin' TV!"

TV is really a big deal. Stores even have their own TV section. TV used to be like a "cool" thing if you had it. Now it is like an expectation that you do have it. TV is probably taking over the world. If not taking over the world, at least taking over America.

You cannot talk about TV without talking about TV's best friend though. What is the best friend you ask? Satellite TV duh! Satellite TV is the thing. If you don't have it then you are behind the times pretty much.

Satellite TV broadens your channel selections by a million channels pretty much. It is really great. A main part of satellite TV is the satellite dish. This dish is what connects you to all those millions of channels.

There is a big satellite up in the sky somewhere and the satellite dish that is on your house connects to the satellite in the sky, reads the signals it sends and that transmits them to show on you screen.

Just looking at the satellite dish you really would not think it was such a smart little machine. But it really is quite brilliant. It does so many things.

First: It has to locate the satellite in the sky. The invisible one that you cannot see. Yeah. The satellite can find it even though it is not visible.

Second: It has to read the signals the satellite sends out. Through all that space, this satellite dish can find and read those signals. That is really super awesome that this dish can do that.

Third: This small little dish that has already done so much for you transmits those signals it finds, so that you can watch TV. It sends them to your receiver through you satellite cable cord.

Talk about doing a lot of stuff to do. Wow this really is a great machine.
