Satellite Installation Equipment

Lets pretend for a second that you are at the head of some major business and you goal is to make sure that all your customers are happy and satisfied. You want all your customers to love you company and to never think about going to any other company. You would want them to think it would be crazy if they even though about it.

Of course there will always be customers that could never really be satisfied no matter what, but still, that is your goal. You work at it pretty hard and you do a whole lot for your customers. They are very impressed and you become more and more well known in your field. Your customers talk. The people they talk to talk. If everyone is talking, you will be famous in no time.

If this was your position and you had this goal, do you think that you would ship any electronics to your customers with out installation instructions? Probably not. It does not sound like something you would do. Especially in view of this goal and all the success you have. It seems like you would want them to know how to use the stuff you sell them.

So you would send all the instructions, but would you send all the tools? That would cost you extra money and you would have to charge more for your products. That just might not be very cozy for you.

If you order DirecTV satellite TV from certain companies they will have someone come out and set it up for you. Other companies tell you that you can either do it yourself or you can call some professional guys to come set it up. Guys that would do it themselves, but they are trained in it and would know just what the procedure is.

It is recommended to have professionals set it up because if you do it yourself it usually has more problems. At least that is what has been shown to usually happen. People who set it up themselves call companies more often with more questions and problems.

But there are stories where people have set it up themselves and been very successful. If you do set it up yourself it probably takes anywhere from one and a half to two hours. If you have this time, great. Probable anyone could find this time if they wanted to.

The equipment would include things such as satellite cables, ground cables, different kinds of screws, different kinds of washers . . . the things that you need so that you can get your antenna to stay stuck to the house, so you can get your cables to stay down and not flap around, so you can set up your receiver.

But all that work is not very necessary because a lot of the companies offer free installation. DirecTV are the main people and they offer free installation. It may not be worth the hassle to go through and do it yourself if it would be not cost to you to have someone who is trained to do it come out and set it up.

If you do decide to do it yourself though and you do not have all the equipment you need, there are companies like RCA that sell installation kits with tools and cables in them so that you can have everything you need.

When it comes to installing satellite TV, you can do it yourself, but it many be smarter to have someone who knows how come and install it.
