Satellite TiVo

Satellite TiVo is one of the newer technologies that have to do with satellite and it is very, extremely useful and good for use. It is not just satellite. It is satellite and then some.

Satellite TiVo is technology of its own. Normal satellite TV is just this: the satellite gives off signals that are read by an antenna that transmits the signals to the satellite receiver through a satellite cable, which then displays the information on the TV. That is pretty neat, but wait until you hear what TiVo is.

TiVo is all this plus some. It still has a main satellite that gives off signals. It still has an antenna that reads those signals. That antenna still transmits those signals to the satellite receiver through a satellite cable. And that receiver still displays all the information on the TV.

So what does TiVo do that normal TV does not? It has a lot of super awesome features. For one: you can record shows and then watch them later. This feature would be worth buying TiVo in and of itself.

This is a great feature if you have to be gone during a sports game, favorite show or anything else. You can just select for it to be saved and then you can come back and watch it later when you are not busy. Very convenient.

You could also record it for someone else if they needed you to. Maybe you want to watch a show with a friend and that friend cannot make it to your house by the time the beginning of the show starts. Then you can just record it and wait until your friend can get there and watch it then.

Another neat feature of TiVo is the ability to pause, fast forward and rewind. Yeah. That is pretty crazy. If you are in the middle of a show and you really need to use the restroom, you can just pause it and then come back and watch it.

Or maybe there is an incredible play during a football game, you can rewind it as many times as you want to watch that play again.

Each time you pause or rewind though, time keeps moving forward. This means that if you pause it for five minutes, you have five minutes worth of time that you can fast forward. Or if you rewind for ten minutes worth of time, you have ten minutes worth of time that you can fast forward.

You may be wondering why on earth you would want to fast forward during your favorite show or something else that you may be watching, but there is really a very good reason and it is: commercials.

It is always so annoying when you are watching something and there are twice as many commercials as there is show. Well with TiVo if you have saved up time by pausing or rewinding, you can fast forward past the commercials.

You can also do this if you have recorded a show and you are watching it at a later date. You can just fast forward through all the commercials. It is very nice.

If you see a show on TiVo and you really like it a lot, you can also purchase that show. That way you can keep it forever, not just for one night.

TiVo has many great features and many people love it a lot. TiVo is a great idea.
