Security

This can include firewalls and other protective measures, as wireless internet increases your chances of other users accessing your information. The service provider you select may not navigate through certain types of firewall, so be sure to check, as some providers prefer certain types of networks over others.

Device compatibility
When choosing a wireless internet service provider, you will want to consider first what you want it to do. Do you just want it for your phone, or your PDA, or your laptop? Or do you want it for everything? Many times, it is possible to transmit both voice and data, or both, on your phone.
