Instant messaging has increased widely in popularity in recent years. What are AIM Expressions?
AIM expressions are a way you can decorate your AIM or AOL chat window to your personalized tastes. Friends on your buddy list can see your AIM Expressions provided that have an updated version of AIM that supports the images.

You can get AIM Expressions by going to the AIM Expressions page at the top of your buddy list. There are also a number of web sites that have free Aim Expressions, or skins, that you can download and set to your chat window.

You can change your AIM Expressions at any time by going to the AIM Expressions page. From there, go to the Change Buddy Icon, Change Wallpaper, Change Sounds and Change Smileys links in the middle of the page. Clicking on any of these will take you to the library of various AIM Expressions you can use.

If you don't have an AOL or AIM account, you can get one for free by going to their website and downloading the service or signing up for it. These accounts are free and can be easily obtained by signing up for AIM at the AIM website. There is also a link to it from AOL. In order to sign up for AIM or AOL, you will fill in personal information such as your name, birth date, and gender. Then you will choose a username and password and sign a terms of service agreement.

In addition to AIM Expressions, you can personalize your AIM chat window and profile in a number of different ways, including buddy icons. Buddy icons are usually very small and can be pictures of just about anything. More popular ones include celebrities and sports figures, animals, and cartoons. Some buddy icons are even animated.
