Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays?

Which do you use in greetings around the holidays - Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays?

Data from www.GiftBasketsDeluxe.com indicates that 65% of you used Merry Christmas in 2008.

And what's interesting, is that this is almost exactly the opposite of 2007.

Why the switch?

It's hard to tell, but Don Crowther, President of Gift Baskets Deluxe and Corporate Gift Baskets believes it may have something to do with the hard times we're experiencing right now. He thinks that people are returning to their traditional roots as a reaction to the hard times, and ignoring the more politically correct happy holidays.
