When you take the time to appreciate your staff, you can gain their respect and trust and it does really help people to become engaged in their jobs.

Since they are on the frontlines with the customers and they are the individuals that really do work directly with them that they will have a lot of valuable information to share with you that can make the company better.
• Manage the outside factors. One of the things that you need to understand is the type of issues that are influencing the employees outside of the working environment. You need to find out what types of jobs are out there and to make sure that your employees are working on understanding that while the other jobs could pay more that your company is one that is going to really work on providing them with a meaningful job that can be fulfilling to them. While you might not be able to offer them the same type of money you do need to be willing to come up with some other options for them that can really convince them to stay with your company.
