Promoting Teamwork
One of the effective leadership styles is to promote teamwork in the company. You want your employees to learn how to rely on each other and to be able to really help each other to help the company. When you have a company that really works on promoting teamwork, you will be able to bring about an effective leadership style to the company and can have employees that appreciate working for the business. The nice thing about teamwork is that it also helps you to see leaders emerge in the team. You can start evaluating your employees and to know which ones can be capable of different projects and tasks and might even make successful managers for your company someday. If you do create an atmosphere of teamwork, make sure you take the time to acknowledge all of your employees to let them feel the importance that they have to the team and the company in general.

Goals
Another way to help effectively manage a company is by setting goals for everyone. People can flourish if they have something that they need to work toward. You need to plan on setting goals for them to accomplish and to really help them in being able to know what they need to do. As they are able to accomplish goals, acknowledge them. People want to know that you can see the good things that they do and not only the things that they don't do. Make the employees part of the goal setting process as they need to be able to show you what they know they are capable of doing. This helps them to expect more of themselves instead of you always being the way to tell them what to do.

Listening
What does this have to do with a management style? When you start listening to the employees, you can easily see what they like and do not like about the company.You will be able to get them to participate in various activities for the company and you will easily be able to help your employees in being able to understand what they need to do in order to lead the company in the right direction. Listen to your staff as they have the direct communication with the customers. With the employees being on the front line, you will see what they are able to learn and what you can do in order to help the employees to make the customers happier and also what you need to do in order to make the employees jobs much easier.

Have patience with yourself as it's not always each to learn how to manage a business. It takes time to understand the skills that you need to magnify and to be able to really focus your efforts on making a difference with the business and creating a company people enjoy working for.
