Are you struggling to get people to respond to your social media messages? What are you saying and why do you think people are not interested in your messages? It takes a lot of work to understand what people think about your social media messages and to really get your customers to start paying attention to what you have to say. If you want people to start listening and responding to what you have to say, here are some tips that can help you out:

• Offer insight – a great way to get people to start responding is to give them something that no one else knows. You need to offer them a sneak peak to a new product or announce something that they are interested in. Giving them more information will invite comments from them and it will be able to help you see what your customers are responding to and what you need to change.
• Share your knowledge – your customers will be interested in what you have to say as long as it is insightful. They may be interested in articles but on social media they only want to see a preview and then choose if they want to read up on it. You can boost your brand with social media and marketing messages by sending out quality information that the customers are interested in.
• Use videos to market – you have likely hear the phrase “viral video” and you may know why it is so important to companies. When you create a video that people will watch and share with others, it is a great way for you to build a reputation and to gain a lot of new customers. You need to use videos to market your business and to expose your company to a large audience. Videos give you a chance to do product demonstrations and other things, which can cement your reputation with your customers. When you have good videos you can also start charging for advertisements with the videos. YouTube can do this for you or you can create videos on your own site and start earning money from them. This will help you pay for other marketing promotions.
• Use the right content – in order to have your customers respond you need to use quality content. What will they respond to and what will get them to share the message with others. Research keywords and other things with Google and it can help you to see information and understand what type of traffic is going to what keywords. Customers share content that they enjoy and find value in.
• Use a blog – a great social media tool is a blog. Use your blog to discuss more in depth information with your customers. You can easily open the lines of communication with your customers by holding a discussion with them on your blog. The more you post this type of information, the easier it will be for your customers to know that you are the company with the most information out there. It can establish a stronger reputation for your business and will bring a lot of traffic to your website.
• Interact with your customers – to bring about the right type of response you have to interact with the customers. Respond to their messages to let them know you do read the information they talk about. You want to focus on interaction as it does help them to share your company information with friends and it can bring about brand loyalty as well. This is easy to do and it a great way for you to be able to build up a stronger social media presence.
