So either way, there are 5 key factors to keep in mind, making it easier to compare the various MP3 players out there.

Factor #1 use and ease of use

The first factor that will make a world of difference in the comparison-shopping you do, will be what you will be using the MP3 player for. The reason is that different MP3 players have more room, longer battery life, or more convenient size and functions.

With this in mind, the first thing to do is to know what you will be using the MP3 player for. Then you will need to know what the ease of use will be that you are looking for. Do you want a larger screen, more inner functions or simply the smallest size available for your exercise sessions?

Factor #2 hard drive, memory and capabilities

The size of the memory or hard drive is the main focus of many people who are searching the market. This is because the larger hard drive, or memory means more music. More music means more listening freedom, and in some cases more clout in the gaming or music world.

In fact, if what you are looking at has less then 1 GB capabilities, then you will likely fin that you want more. 1GB will give you the ability to store roughly 250 songs. Most of us want more than that. What if you could store 10,000 songs? Well the technology is out there. Why not look at that option when you are comparing those MP3 players on the market.

Factor #3 Size

They may need to use the MP3 player for jogging, or other exercise. Therefore, wanting the item to be as small as possible. Or, on the other hand, they may be looking for the largest screen size possible. This way it is easier to see what they are looking for. The choice is simply that, a preference. Factor #4 Look

Since so many MP3 players come in many different sizes, colors, and shapes. It can become a bit of a task to find the one you like the most. When you are comparing what is on the market, you can see that each of these shapes and sizes have their own functions. Some are smaller; some are shaped with bigger screens. Find the size that fits what you will be using the MP3 player for.

As far as colors go, this is important to some and not to others. For the most part the color is something that you will have to decide on your own preference.

Factor #5 Cost

When you are comparing the different MP3 players on the market, you will find there is a wide variety in the cost. This is because of the fact that technology comes in different levels and costs. However, for the most part the overall prices of the MP3 players has now dropped so dramatically that it is much easier to purchase the MP3 player that will fit your needs. In time these prices should continue to drop.

These factors should help in your comparison of the MP3 devices that are on the market. Good luck in finding what will work for you.
