You might have to deal with the employee that is never on time to work, you might have to deal with the employee that is always sick; you also might have to deal with the evasive employee. If you have an evasive employee and do not know what to do with them there are some things you can do. Here are some things that can help you know how to handle an evasive employee. The first thing you will want to know when it comes to how to handle an evasive employee is to know exactly what an evasive employee consists of. An evasive employee is some one that is not direct.
The third thing you will want to know on how to handle an evasive employee is if they do not take credit for their mistakes. Employees that are not direct will sometimes not want to admit that they have messed up and will avoid conflict by placing blame on some one else. The fourth thing you will want to know on how to handle an evasive employee is that they might feel more comfortable in confiding in some one that they feel close to and that they feel like they can trust. If you know that there is some one in your company that they confide in or that they might talk to you might want to talk to them to get an idea of how you can handle them. The fifth thing you will want to know on how to handle an evasive employee is to make sure that you are direct with them. Let them know where you stand with them and what different things need to take place. This will help them know what you are looking for and let them know that even though they are evasive you still have certain things in mind on how you want to handle certain things. The sixth thing you will want to know on how to handle an evasive employee is to know that they might skate around the truth and try to dodge your questions by talking in circles and not answer the questions that you are trying to ask. You want to make sure that you have different tactics that you can use so that you can know how to word questions just the right way so that they have no choice but answer questions either yes or no. These are just some of the things that you will want to know on how to handle an evasive employee.
